Dr. Monica Edmark graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Science. She continued on to graduate from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 1992, with a DC designation, Doctor of Chiropractic.
Dr. Edmark is passionate about her practice and the well-being of her patients. She provides Chiropractic care in a professional, relaxed and welcoming environment. Her dedication to her field is evidenced in her continual upgrading of her education. She has recently completed a 10 module certification program in Spinal Trauma.
Her holistic approach to looking at her patients’ medical concerns as they relate to their overall health, can provide both immediate and long term benefits. It’s so rewarding to her when she is able to help correct the cause of their issues and improve their overall health. Many find they have relief from the pain for the first time in years.
As part of Dr. Edmark’s approach, she encourages her patients to take an active roll in their own healthcare, by teaching them exercises and providing home corrective devices that can improve their posture and the overall condition of their spine. Dr. Edmark has found that patients who are pro-active in their care show a vast improvement in a much shorter time.
Dr. Edmark’s experience has taught her the importance of listening to her patients and customizing treatment plans to meet their specific health care needs and goals. She has built long-term relationships with her patients, to help them get healthy and stay healthy and believes it’s vital to treat and correct the root cause of health issues, not just their symptoms. Her ability to educate her patients on what they can do for themselves, to improve and maintain their health, is just part of the commendable service she provides.
